I had an excellent two-night stay at Hotel Alphorn. the restaurant offered delicious meals, and my room was both modern and authentic, featuring stunning mountain views and a lovely balcony. Breakfast was delightful, complete with a selection of jams.

it was a magnificent location for us, not far from the ski slopes and the center of gstaad. it also was in the nearby area. guest room was authentic. lovely bed, we slept like babies.

Perfect and excellent location, I appreciated almost everything.
My room with great breakfast, a balcony, beautiful views of the mountains was big size, had good night's sleep. Location: the hotel was just next door to Gstaad for the past 40 years as well as the cable car. It also was on the outskirts of the town;)))

I always stay here. The staff helped me with early check-in on my first visit. It has everything I need: Wi-Fi, car park, luggage storage, bar, restaurant, jacuzzi. Perfect for business trips.

Yes, I ordered a non smoking, but it smelled smoke and it was so noisy from the bars and restaurant during the night. No flowers in the room, no shower cap, or no welcome water. Restaurant has lots of flies. Receptionist has no make up, etc. I had to cancel 2 night instead 4, but I could not refund. Well, a friend of mine told I should stay there, but.... I do not want to go back, may be if I had no money, I would stay...Thank you.

The spa facilities were misleading. Value for money was not good. I wish I had paid a tiny bit more and stayed in a much better hotel.

I visited Hotel Alphorn as a ski bum, and to that purpose the hotel was excellent! The breakfast was noting fancy, but were suitable for skiers and families with small children. Not a great location for nightlife, Gstaad city is roughly 10-15 minutes away.
The isolation between the rooms were very limited, so one experienced some noise from neighbors both on your floor and the floor above.

Loved the small wellness area with its well-functioning sauna, steam bath, and whirlpool. The sun terrace offered stunning mountain views, perfect for enjoying regional culinary delights. Convenient amenities like express check-in and check-out made my stay hassle-free.
Oh, I just adored the thin towels, dodgy shower curtains, and falling plug sockets. Such attention to detail!

The hotel is conveniently located, with easy access to the ski slopes and the bus stop for Glacier 3000. The rooms are clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. The hotel manager is extremely helpful and goes above and beyond to assist guests. The breakfast offers a wide selection and the restaurant and bar are reasonably priced.
Nothing to mention.

The ski-to-door access was a game-changer - we basically rolled out of bed and onto the slopes. The ski school was super cool too, they totally taught us some sick tricks. And the best part? The hotel had free Wi-Fi, so we could upload all our sick ski videos right away. It was lit!
The only thing that could have made our stay even more lit would have been if the hotel had a nightclub or some kind of party scene. Don't get me wrong, the ski school and ski-to-door access were awesome, but us young party-goers need a place to let loose and show off our sick dance moves.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
